West Coast Dental is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in California. The role involves assisting dentists across general and specialty procedures, taking X-rays, maintaining patient records, and educating patients on oral care in a fast-paced, multi-specialty setting.

Qualifications

• Active California RDA license required.
• Current X-ray certification (CA) required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of sterilization procedures and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA standards.
• Assist dentists during general and specialty procedures.
• Take, develop, and process dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
• Manage operatory flow and support efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with front and back-office teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience from start to finish.
• Learn across multiple specialties and participate in mentoring programs.
