Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Active RDA license with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners is required/preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to monitor Nitrous Oxide.
• OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training are important.
• Experience with Open Dental or Dentrix is helpful.

Responsibilities

• End of week inventory to replenish inventory with Lead DA.
• Provide excellent chairside assistance and stay in sync with the doctor.
• Maintain and uphold infection control protocols and OSHA requirements.
• Maintain digital patient records and keep exam rooms clean and stocked.
• Prepare tray setups according to doctor preferences and procedures.
• Educate patients and parents on oral health benefits.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assist with orthodontic procedures.
• Take diagnostic X-Rays and attach to patient charts.
