Lakeshore Learning Materials in Carson, CA is seeking an RD&D Process and Operations Lead to organize cross-functional product development work. You will build the operational backbone with streamlined processes, data structures, and training to keep teams aligned and efficient.

The role is hybrid and based in Carson, CA, offering hands-on, high-impact work that translates complex workflows into scalable improvements and measurable results for teachers, parents, and children.

Qualifications

• Hybrid role based in Carson, CA and onsite as required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5–8+ years of experience in operations and/or program management within product development.
• Experience supporting new product launches and development initiatives.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and presentation development.
• Experience with SAP integrations and implementing other technologies.
• Familiarity with Workfront and change management.
• Strong analytical skills to drive insights from systems and data.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive multiple cross-functional operational projects, building plans, tracking accountabilities and timelines.
• Develop and implement the product development operations center of excellence with roadmap and process flows.
• Lead scoping, onboarding, and scaled implementation of inspection technology across teams.
• Build and maintain data structures, KPIs, and reports for visibility and risk management.
• Design and deliver training and communications; facilitate sessions that surface and resolve conflicts.
