Under general supervision, provides technical oversight of radiological work in the field. Supports radiological work planning, Job Hazard Analysis development and review, and verification of Radiation Protection Program procedures. Assists management in ensuring monitoring, controls, and processes for reducing and controlling radioactive materials and radiation generating equipment are in compliance with DOE Orders, safety guidelines, and applicable regulations. 2+ years of direct experience as a Radiological Control Technician Sr. and current qualification as a Radiological Control Technician or Radiological Control Technician Sr. with an NRRPT certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
