Job summary

IU Health in Indianapolis seeks a Scheduling Specialist to support the Revenue Cycle Center. You will deliver high-quality scheduling outcomes and provide patient experiences within the Revenue Cycle System Patient Access Centers.

This hybrid role is primarily remote with occasional onsite requirements at a Revenue Cycle Campus for training and quarterly meetings. Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and initiative are essential to meet objectives.

Qualifications

Overview

Location: Hybrid, primarily remote with occasional onsite requirements at a Revenue Cycle Campus (ex: training, quarterly in-person meetings, etc)

Hours: Days with shifts ranging from 7am - 7pm Monday-Friday and 8am-noon on Saturdays

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality scheduling outcomes alongside providing exceptional patient experiences within the Revenue Cycle System Patient Access Centers. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, scheduling, handling patient inquiries, registration, insurance verification, financial counseling/individual solutions, and customer service. Position adheres to departmental productivity, quality, and service standards in support of operational goals.

Main Function: Support Access Center operations.
