Job summary

Sharp HealthCare in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide cardiopulmonary diagnostics and therapies per physician-approved policies. This role requires California RCP license, BLS, ACLS, and bronchoscopy experience, along with PFT duties and patient education.

Adherence to safety and professional standards is essential. Responsibilities include accurate documentation of therapies, charging for services, and collaboration with care teams to support patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care.
• 2 Years experience in acute care in respiratory therapy
• Experience in Bronchoscopy.
• California Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) - Respiratory Care Board of CA -REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - REQUIRED
• ACLS Certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - REQUIRED
• NRP certification (NICU position only) - REQUIRED
• PALS - American Heart Association - PREFERRED

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiopulmonary diagnostics, therapeutics and monitors per physician approved policies.
• Provide education to patients, families and other health professionals.
• Maintain professional standards of conduct and ethics.
• Ensure accurate documentation of therapies provided and charging for therapies.
• Distribute daily assignments when assigned.
