Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 1 year of medical billing or revenue cycle experience.
• 1 year of customer service, account management, or client-facing experience.
• Strong understanding of insurance billing and therapy reimbursement processes.

Responsibilities

• Submit, review, and process denied, rejected, and unpaid insurance claims.
• Research and resolve claim issues by identifying root causes and solutions.
• Prioritize and manage a high-volume workflow by age, complexity, and urgency.
• Own accounts receivable processes for assigned accounts with ongoing reviews.
• Collaborate with clinicians and customers to provide proactive account management.
• Identify trends, denials, and reimbursement challenges; recommend process improvements.
• Use reporting tools to monitor performance and drive data-driven decisions.
• Stay current on payer requirements and revenue cycle best practices.
