Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in healthcare analytics, RCM, medical billing, reporting, business analysis, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Basic understanding of medical billing, claims, denials, AR, and payment posting.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with healthcare reporting, dashboards, or BI tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams.
• Familiarity with Epic, EHR/EMR, or healthcare RCM systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report key RCM performance indicators, including denial rates, AR aging, payment trends, productivity, and quality metrics.
• Analyze claims, remittance, and operational data to identify trends, payer-specific issues, and billing variances.
• Prepare and maintain Excel-based reports, models, dashboards, and performance trackers.
• Review denial and AR data to identify recurring issues and potential root causes.
• Work with billing, coding, AR, denial management, and operations teams to validate findings.
• Assist in developing recommendations to improve RCM processes and operational performance.
• Track improvement initiatives and monitor their results over time.
• Prepare clear reports and presentations for internal management and RCM leadership.
• Support periodic business reviews with performance summaries, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of reports, findings, and analytical activities.
• Stay informed about payer requirements and changes that may affect claims and reimbursement.
• Handle healthcare data responsibly and follow HIPAA and applicable compliance requirements.
