Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking an RCM Engineer to develop and manage the Reliability-Centered Maintenance program in support of NASA Ames AFSS II. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Utilities, Environmental, Safety, and Maintenance teams to optimize maintenance, evaluate asset performance, and support process improvements.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university, or has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform reliability centered maintenance tasks to support preventive maintenance programs.
• Apply mechanical engineering knowledge and NASA codes to perform determinations and design work.
• Provide mechanical planning and design for multi‑phase construction and renovation projects.
• Support construction projects by coordinating RFIs, Change Orders, and field problem solving.
• Develop preliminary scope definitions and cost estimates for future projects.
• Offer technical assistance and engineering solutions to customers.
• Engage CMMS and GIS resources, and assist in RFP/Design processes.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and adhere to safety policies.
