Job summary

GeneDx is seeking a senior Client Billing leader in the United States to manage and optimize the diagnostic laboratory billing process. The role includes supervising the Client Billing team, resolving aging balances, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities cover collaboration with internal teams, billing vendors, client setup, and performance metrics analysis. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills and experience in revenue cycle management and HIPAA

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in laboratory billing, insurance claims, client billing, or revenue cycle management.
• Strong understanding of insurance claim processes, healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and compliance requirements.
• Strong critical thinking skills to identify root causes and resolve complex issues.
• Advanced knowledge of service requirements, adjudication processes, dispute management, and reimbursement methodologies.
