Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a cardiovascular invasive lab technologist to support cardiac catheterization and related procedures. You will work with physicians to perform diagnostic and interventional studies, supervise equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

The role requires RCIS/RCES or ARRT Cardiac Interventional certification, an associate degree, and 1+ year experience in the cath lab; BLS is required with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in health science or related field required.
• RCIS/RCES or ARRT Cardiac-Interventional certification required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• 1+ year of cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred.
• Technical/vocational training in invasive cardiovascular technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjusts approach based on patient and family understanding and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions.
• Prioritizes clinical/administrative work independently and identifies process improvements.
• Assists physicians in cardiovascular procedures including catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, IABP operation, EP studies.
• Evaluates and documents patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.
