Job summary

Qualifications

• RCIS, RCES, or RT(CI)(ARRT) certification required
• PhD not applicable
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• ACLS preferred
• Two or more of the listed licenses may be acceptable

Responsibilities

• Adjusts approach based on patient and family understanding of test procedures and troubleshoots equipment malfunctions or patient issues.
• Prioritizes clinical and administrative work independently and identifies process improvements.
• Assists physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures including catheterization and electrophysiology studies.
• Evaluates and documents patient status to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and uses evidence-based practices.
