Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Completion of a Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent experience is necessary.
• BLS required; ACLS may be required depending on assignment.
• Must have successfully passed the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) exams.

Responsibilities

• Assists in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Operates diagnostic and therapeutic equipment used for procedures efficiently.
• Monitors and records ECG and pressure waves during the procedures.
• Follows sterile techniques and maintains patient safety.
