Full‑Time, 4 10‑hour shifts; 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Rotating Call requirement.
This position, under the direction of a qualified physician, assists in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures on patients. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide optimal care to patient population.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent. Completion of a Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent experience. BLS required; ACLS may be required depending on assignment. Must successfully pass Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) exams. May require national certification, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, and licensure by state regulatory agency if applicable. Extensive clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2+ years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or meeting certification board requirements. Ability to maintain professional decorum in highly stressful emergent situations.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
