Job summary

Network Cabling Services (NCS) seeks an experienced RCDD to lead design, development, documentation, and oversight of structured cabling and ICT infrastructure projects in the Houston area.

The successful candidate will develop high-quality telecommunications designs, coordinate with project teams, and manage documentation from site assessment through closeout, leveraging knowledge of ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEC, and related standards.

Qualifications

• BICSI RCDD certification required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in telecommunications/ICT infrastructure design.
• Experience with commercial construction projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review structured cabling and ICT infrastructure designs for commercial projects.
• Design copper and fiber optic cabling systems for backbone and horizontal distribution.
• Create telecommunications layouts, floor plans, rack elevations, and pathway designs.
• Review drawings to identify telecom requirements and design considerations.
