Job summary

Anduril Industries in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Field Operations Associate to oversee a fleet of RC surrogate aircraft for T&E and deployment operations. You will ensure timely maintenance, readiness, and surrogate ops support for events in Atlanta and at field test sites.

You will collaborate across teams, manage schedules, maintain documentation, and help improve deployment capabilities while traveling up to 50% to support demonstrations and tests.

Qualifications

• BA/BS preferred.
• At least 3 years of RC flight experience on fixed wing and accompanying maintenance operations.
• FAA Part 107.
• FAA Part 61 ground school complete (preferred).
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally toward a common goal.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritization, and planning.
• Basic efficiency with office related computer applications.
• Experience with scheduling and maintenance processes.
• Highly polished communication skills.
• US Person status is required for access to export controlled data.
• Travel up to 50%.
• Subject to pre-employment and randomized substance screening as required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations partners, business leaders, and external stakeholders to ensure readiness and accountability of RC surrogate fleet.
• Collaborate with Test and Evaluation partners to ensure RC surrogate fleet is test-ready.
• Oversee reordering, replacement, or repair of assigned equipment.
• End-to-end movement of vehicles and equipment for demos, deployments, and exercises.
• Coordinate with Flight Test Engineers to assist with test planning.
• Ensure RC fleet and surrogate operations comply with FAA regulations.
• Provide feedback to Engineering and T&E teams for improvement loops.
• Maintain records of maintenance and operator training; provide administrative support.
• Respond to stakeholder inquiries and resolve discrepancies regarding surrogate fleet availability.
