Job summary

The Place for Children with Autism in Chicago provides 1:1 behavioral therapy to children aged 2–9 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Therapists implement BCBA-designed programs, collect data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training leads toward RBT certification. We value energetic, reliable team players who engage kids safely and positively.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Able to travel to other clinics to support as needed.
• No prior experience required; training provided for RBT certification.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children aged 2–9 with ASD to develop communication, social, and daily-living skills.
• Implement individualized therapy plans designed by BCBA, collect data, and participate in team discussions.
• Engage children using play, movement and laughter to promote growth.
• Partner with families to celebrate progress and address challenges.
