Job summary

Action Behavior Centers is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at our Lincoln Park, IL clinic. This full-time role offers a daytime schedule Monday through Friday, with optional Saturdays based on patient needs.

Immediate start dates and a supportive growth culture are provided. You will work one-on-one with children aged 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA, following treatment plans, collecting data, and maintaining a safe, engaging therapy environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma.
• Active RBT certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, crouch, and get on/off the floor frequently.
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
• Team mindset and flexibility to support nearby ABC clinics.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children aged 18 months to 8 years using play-based ABA therapy.
• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect session data.
• Engage children through play, movement, reading, games and hands-on activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed.
• Watch a Behavior Technician at work.
