Job summary

Applied ABC partners with the Hawaii Department of Education to provide behavioral support services in school settings across Hawaii. We are seeking compassionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support students under BCBA supervision, implement treatment plans, collect data, and help students develop communication, social, and academic skills.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification in good standing or willingness to obtain certification.
• College Degree or Minimum 48 College Credits required.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within educational and multidisciplinary environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA-based intervention plans under the supervision of the BCBA.
• Provide direct one-on-one and small-group behavioral support.
• Collect accurate, real-time behavioral data.
• Support skill development in communication, social, behavioral, adaptive, and academic areas.
• Maintain professional conduct per BACB RBT Ethics Code.
• Communicate student progress to the supervising BCBA.
• Participate in required supervision activities per BACB requirements.
