Job summary

Behavioralinitiatives is hiring a part-time Registered Behavior Therapist (RBT) in Pembroke Pines, FL. You will implement ABA-based skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans under supervision, collect data, graph trends, and communicate effectively with clients and families.

The role requires background checks, morning availability, and typically 15–25 hours per week with competitive hourly pay and benefits such as training and supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have some college credits or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field.
• Experience with children with autism and/or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred.
• Certification: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• Background check required for all applicants.
• Morning availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly implement skill acquisition and behavior-reduction plans developed by the supervisor (BCBA or BCaBA).
• Collect and record data accurately and efficiently.
• Graph data as instructed.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and caregivers.
• Demonstrate basic competency post-training.
• Abide by the ethics guidelines for Behavior Analysts and maintain client confidentiality.
• Ongoing professional development through workshops and literature review.
