Job summary

Alight Behavioral Therapy in Jacksonville, NC is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) ABA Therapist to provide in-home therapy and autism evaluations to children on the autism spectrum. This part-time role offers meaningful client work with a dedicated team.

You will collect data, implement ABA-based behavior plans designed by BCBAs, maintain detailed records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support client progress.

Qualifications

• RBT certification from BACB (required).
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or special education.
• Familiarity with positive behavioral supports (PBS) and ABA principles.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with ASD in home environments implementing behavior plans from BCBAs.
• Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and treatment effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and staff for seamless communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance ABA therapy skills.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, speech/occupational therapists, and psychologists for comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records of progress, plans, and session notes.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in their natural environments, implementing individualized behavior plans designed by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Collect and record data on client behavior, progress, and treatment effectiveness
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in ABA therapy and autism treatment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including BCBAs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certified by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB)
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology, education, or special education
