Job summary

Lancaster-Lebanon IU13 is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician paraeducator to support Autistic Support classes in a center-based setting. You will assist the teacher and students under supervision of the program supervisor and a BCBA.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or HSE, RBT certification (or completion by end of first semester) with annual renewal, and one of several credential options (or CAPE test) within required timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or HSE required.
• RBT certification required or completed by end of first full semester; annual renewal.
• Must meet one of: PDE Credential of Competency, 2 years postsecondary (48 credits), Associate degree or higher, or CAPE Test within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to the teacher and students under supervision of the program supervisor and BCBA.
• Maintain 20 hours of staff development annually; evidence of ongoing RBT certification and professional development.
