Job summary

Harbor Oaks Hospital in New Baltimore, MI seeks a Registered Behavioral Technician to provide specialized care to individuals with IDD under supervision of an ABA Therapist. You will implement BSPs, collect data, and help ensure patient safety.

The role emphasizes teamwork, timely documentation, and adherence to safety protocols in a structured environment. Evening and weekend shifts are available in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months’ experience with individuals with IDD; 1 year preferred.
• Some college in the helping professions (social work, psychology, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral modification techniques per BSP.
• Review treatment techniques from assessments used for skill building.
• Data collection and entry to demonstrate treatment effectiveness.
• Work with ABA therapist to implement, track, and modify BSP.
• Maintain patient safety and provide a respectful, supportive environment.
• Conduct safety checks with 15-minute intervals as required; document in patient record.
