Role of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are at the forefront of creating life-changing experiences for children with Autism. Working in the home environment allows RBTs to build stronger relationships, tailor interventions to everyday routines, and support children in developing the skills they need to thrive. Serving as the eyes and ears of the BCBA, RBTs carry out individualized treatment plans while providing essential feedback to enhance outcomes. Together, RBTs and BCBAs form a powerful team, fostering trust, growth, and hope for the families they serve.

Home Health Registered Behavior Technician Requirements and Responsibilities

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification (we can help you obtain one).
• Unconditional desire to help kids live their best lives.
• Able to pass a background check as part of the hiring process.
• Willingness to adapt to changing behaviors and environments.
• Must have the physical ability to frequently stand, walk, run, assist patients in standing/sitting, and reach with hands and arms.
• Requires agility to quickly and repeatedly transition between sitting and standing.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. is essential.
