Job summary

The Arc of the Ozarks is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to implement behavior support plans and skill-acquisition programming for clients served by Rivendale and ABA Services. You will collect data under BCBA supervision, assist with assessments, and help with crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of relevant experience, and BACB-certified training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or psychiatric disorders.
• Bachelor’s degree in human services preferred.
• 40-hour BACB-approved RBT training and BACB credentials in progress or obtained.

Responsibilities

• Assist with program instruction and work with staff and consumers during activities.
• Collect and measure data per treatment plans, IEPs, BSPs, and BCBA directives.
• Assist in functional analyses and other assessments as requested by BCBA/Director.
• Participate in treatment planning and meetings with the support team.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed within certified scope.
• Complete required paperwork, including billing and timecards.
• Use task analyses and chaining to teach daily skills.
• Model and coach caregivers in behavior support plan implementation.
• Attend regular supervision with the RBT supervisor.
