Job summary

ARC of the Treasure Coast in Port Saint Lucie, FL is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to supervise individuals in a residential setting and help implement behavior plans.

You will document progress, assist with daily living activities, and collaborate with families and professionals while providing crisis intervention when necessary. A valid Florida driver’s license and relevant certifications are required.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required.
• 20-hour Behavior Assistant certification required.
• Safety Care certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid Florida driver’s license required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise individuals in a residential setting.
• Implement behavior plans and strategies.
• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, transportation).
• Document progress and behaviors.
• Collaborate with families and professionals.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Participate in recreational activities.
• Administer medication as prescribed.
