Job summary

ARC of the Treasure Coast in Florida is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team and support individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

You will implement behavior intervention plans, supervise activities, document progress, and collaborate with families and professionals to promote safety and independence.

Qualifications

• RBT certification
• 20-hour Behavior Assistant certification
• Safety Care certification
• 1+ year experience with individuals with disabilities
• Valid FL driver's license
• Strong communication & organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise individuals in a residential setting.
• Implement behavior plans and strategies.
• Assist with daily living activities (e.g., hygiene, meals, transportation).
• Document progress and behaviors.
• Participate in recreational activities.
• Administer medication as prescribed.
• Facilitate community outings and activities.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
• Collaborate with families and other professionals.
