Job summary

Channel ABA in Washington County, MD is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children and adolescents in homes, schools, and community settings.

As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with clients under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), implementing treatment plans and helping clients build communication, social, and daily living skills with assent-based, compassionate ABA therapy.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RBT certification.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with autism or developmental delays.
• Experience with online data collection programs preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, problem solving and critical thinking.
• Familiarity with ABA laws, regulations and ethics.
• Background check required.
• Ability to sit on floor, kneel, crawl, or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and travel up to 45 minutes.
• Current first aid and CPR certifications; willing to complete background checks.
• Afternoon/Evening availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy one-on-one with clients in homes, schools, and community settings.
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA and collect progress data.
• Collaborate with a supportive clinical team and participate in ongoing supervision.
