Job summary

YAI seeks dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to supervise and care for individuals, ensuring safety and adherence to house rules while supporting learning and training in fire safety. Qualifications

• HS diploma or its educational equivalent.
• Must hold or obtain RBT certification within one year of appointment.
• CPR/First Aid certifications and basic written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for individuals while enforcing house rules and safety.
• Implement IBSPs/IPPs and support health, wellness, and safety.
• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for changes.
• Teach skills, support advocacy, and assist in communication and decision making.
• Prepare balanced meals, transport individuals to activities, and manage funds as needed.
• Maintain records, complete required documentation, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with team, attend meetings, and participate in trainings.
