Job summary

Action Behavior Centers is hiring for a Behavior Technician in Wood Dale, IL. The role focuses on delivering ABA-based therapy to children, implementing individualized treatment plans, and collecting basic data to track progress.

You will join a supportive team with opportunities for advancement, paid training, and a path toward RBT certification, with competitive hourly pay based on education and ABA experience. Expect stable day hours and potential Saturdays based on patient needs.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Comfortable with movement, sitting/standing, and getting on/off the floor
• Willingness to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire
• Team-oriented and able to support nearby ABC clinics if needed

Responsibilities

• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple session data
• Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities
• Stay active and engaged during therapy sessions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment
• Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed
• Watch a Behavior Technician at work and learn through provided resources
