Job summary

Total Care ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians (BT) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) in Portsmouth, VA. You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home and in-school, under BCBA supervision, to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• ABA experience preferred but not required.
• RBT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home and in-school settings.
• Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, play, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Collect and accurately record client progress data.
• Encourage positive behaviors through evidence-based interventions.
• Partner with families and clinical team to support each child’s success.
• Travel locally to client homes and community settings as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Help children achieve meaningful goals and celebrate milestones.
