Job summary

Sunrise ABA in Tacoma, WA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision. You will work one-on-one with clients in home, school, and community settings to promote communication, social skills, and adaptive behavior.

You’ll collect data, monitor progress, collaborate with families, attend team meetings, and participate in ongoing training. A passion for helping children and reliable transportation are essential; a high school

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred.
• Must have valid Driver License.
• Experience implementing ABA programs or working with children with special needs is a plus.
• An eagerness to be part of a caring, team-oriented culture.
• RBT certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA treatment plans as designed by the BCBA.
• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients in home, school, and community settings.
• Utilize ABA techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
• Accurately collect and record data on client progress during sessions.
• Monitor and report changes in client behavior and progress to the supervising BCBA.
• Assist in preparation of progress reports and attend team meetings.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ABA principles and practices.
• Receive supervision from BCBA to ensure high quality care.
• Collaborate with families and team members to generalize skills across settings.
• Provide support and training to family members and caregivers as needed.
