Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while ensuring safety and engagement.

Training is provided, and advancement opportunities exist. Pay range is $18–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and team oriented.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Follow guidance of a BCBA to ensure program fidelity.
• Participate in onboarding training and ongoing professional development.
• Assist children with mobility tasks as needed during sessions.
