Job summary

Autism Center of Excellence is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children with autism across clinic, home, school, and community settings in Durham and surrounding areas.

You will implement plans created by a BCBA, collect session data, and coordinate with families and BCBAs to track progress while building strong, supportive relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or willingness to obtain certification (we'll help guide you through the process).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client locations, if applicable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn.
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in clinic, home, school, and/or community settings.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA.
• Collect session data and complete documentation using our electronic data collection system.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other team members to support client progress.
• Build positive, professional relationships with clients and their families.
