Job summary

Kinfolk ABA is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Rutherfordton, NC. This role provides in-home, 1:1 ABA therapy under a BCBA-designed plan, with a focus on data collection and client progress.

We value collaboration with families and a safe, positive therapy environment. A 40-hour ABA training is required; RBT certification is preferred, and reliable transportation is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have completed the 40-hour ABA training.
• RBT certification is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Assist in development of individualized treatment goals and objectives based on client needs and assessment findings.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards at all times.
