Job summary

Top Penguin ABA is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism in their homes and communities. You will implement individualized ABA plans and work under BCBA supervision to help clients acquire communication, social, play, and daily living skills.

You will receive ongoing clinical support, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for growth as the practice expands across New Jersey. A reliable vehicle and a passion for pediatric care are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes.
• Passion for working with children and helping them develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy with clients.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect session data accurately and consistently.
• Communicate with supervising BCBAs about progress.
• Complete session documentation after each visit.
• Maintain professional relationships with families and caregivers.
• Participate in supervision and team meetings to improve outcomes.

About the Position

As an RBT you'll work one-on-one with children in their homes and communities implementing individualized behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You'll help children develop communication, social, play, daily living, and behavioral skills while receiving ongoing supervision and support from our clinical team.

Qualifications

Required

Preferred

• Experience working with children with autism

• ABA experience

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, special education, or related field

I would remove the 2-year requirement unless it's truly necessary.

Available Schedule

Flexible scheduling based on client availability.
