Advantage Behavioral Health in Scranton is seeking a Primary Therapist to lead clinical care for residents. This role entails creating and implementing Individualized Treatment Plans, performing biopsychosocial assessments, and delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions.
The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in a human services field and at least two years of clinical experience. Additional preferences include licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT. This position offers the opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The Primary Therapist is the primary clinical lead for an assigned caseload of residents within the facility. The Primary Therapist is responsible for the creation, implementation, and regular review of Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs). This role involves providing high-intensity therapeutic interventions, conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, and ensuring that all clinical services meet the "Medical Necessity" standards for residential care. The Primary Therapist works as part of a multidisciplinary team to move residents toward successful community reintegration.
