Job summary

Axiom Staffing is seeking a 1st shift Raymond stand up Hight reach Forklift Operator for our distribution client in Manchester, PA.

Hours are Monday-Friday 6a-2:30p or Tuesday-Saturday 6a-2:30p (must be able to work until 4:30p for mandatory overtime.) The Forklift position is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse operations using Raymond forklifts (REQUIRED EXP), pallet jacks, personal computers, and radio frequency (RF) equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn WM terminology/acronyms and understand radio frequency functions to perform tasks.
• Must be able to learn OSHA standards and demonstrate competency in safety workplace procedures.
• Must be able to learn Hazardous Materials Shipping regulations as required to perform shipping related functions.
• Must complete forklift certification within probationary period of 90 days and demonstrate competency to operate a variety of industrial powered trucks safely.
• An evaluation of the operator's performance is conducted at least once every three years.
• Must be very detail-oriented to verify inventory information.
• Must possess a strong work ethic to accomplish goals and Company objectives.
• Must be able to utilize interpersonal skills to work well with and for others within the department and the Company.
• Raymond Stand-up experience is mandatory, looking for at least 1-year or more of recent knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory cycle counts, research discrepancies, and support inventory control audits.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections and basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Rotate into other warehouse functions such as Order Filler I and II as needed.
• Utilize WM system to locate inventory, replenish pick areas, and label incoming inventory.
• Learn and apply WM terminology and RF functions in daily tasks.

The associate utilizes the warehouse management (WM) system to locate inventory, replenish multiple pick areas, and label incoming inventory.
