Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree strongly desired.
• Two or more years in food manufacturing with supervisory experience.

Job Description

Lunds & Byerlys Mitchell Road is currently hiring for a self-directed and outgoing Raw Meat Production Lead to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers! This position works a full-time schedule and earns a competitive wage of $25.00-$27.00/hr.

We operate 24 hours/day and 365 days/year. For this position we are looking for someone with availability around the hours of Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm, with on Sunday a month required 6:00am-2:00pm.

RAW MEAT PRODUCTION LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, train, and ensure staff compliance with quality, safety, GMP, and sanitation standards
• Oversee and assist with all aspects of kitchen production operations
• Maintain efficient processes, equipment, and adherence to standard operating procedures
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, USDA, FDA, and food safety regulations
• Keep work areas clean and sanitary, including floors, utensils, and equipment
• Monitor and report shrink within company guidelines

MINMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education:
• Required : High School Diploma
• Desired : Associate's degree strongly desired
• Experience:
• Two or more years' experience in food manufacturing
• Prior supervisory experience
• HACCP experience preferred
• Comply with USDA, FDA, OSHA, AIB and all other regulatory agencies while complying with good manufacturing practices
• Ability to work with raw meat including poultry, beef, pork, and seafood.
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English and/or Spanish
