Franklin Electric Co. is seeking a Raw Materials Warehouse Supervisor in Wilburton, OK to oversee receiving, storage, and inventory control of raw materials and to lead a team in efficient daily operations.

You will coordinate with procurement, enforce safety standards, and manage cycle counts, reporting, and process improvements to support production schedules.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain management, mathematics or related field.
Strong numeric analysis and inventory management experience preferred.
Experience with cycle counts and material procurement.

Raw Materials Warehouse Supervisor

As the Raw Material Warehouse Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the receiving, storage, handling, and inventory control of raw materials, with a primary focus on ensuring efficient operations, inventory accuracy, team management and cycle counts of raw material. You will ensure accuracy in inventory and manage process flow, workloads, and conduct continuous improvement projects.

What You Will Be Doing:

Supervises Daily Operations: Manage receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping of raw materials to support production schedules
Procurement Coordination: Work with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of raw materials and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Compliance and Safety: Enforce warehouse safety protocols, handle controlled or hazardous materials properly, and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory standards.
Operational Efficiency: Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Documentation and Reporting: Update records, track material status (quarantine, released, rejected, expired), and generate reports for management.
Establishes and executes cycle count schedule in compliance with corporate accounting objectives.
Coordinates and oversees the daily cycle counting of the various inventory assets.
Investigates, identifies, and reconciles the cycle count discrepancies, i.e., shortages as well as overages.
Maintains the cycle count records and all reports required by company policy.
Audit processes to be able to spot inconsistencies that affect the accuracy of inventories.
Takes care of the inventory areas by organizing and maintaining efficient material handling and storage.
Prepares weekly reports on inventory levels.
Coordinates damaged and defective products and makes sure that is accounted for.
Authorizes all adjustments made to the inventory and oversees root cause analysis to better understand what caused the inventory loss or gain.
Oversees Tool Crib operations and inventory.
Works closely with purchasing group to make they are aware of all losses or gains to inventory.
Works with various departments and maintains a supporting attitude that helps support the company’s goals.
Ensures that all the employees working for them work towards achieving the objectives related to inventory control management and makes suggestions for improvement to management.
Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
Travel Requirements: Minimal but may include travel to North America Franklin Electric facilities.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises multiple non-supervisory employee(s) in: Receiving, Control Point and Tool Crib.
Interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Working with Human Resources on employee issues.

What You Need:

Strong analytical and mathematic skills to run analysis over inventory levels.
Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with direct employees and other employees within the organization.
General knowledge of production processes, scheduling, planning and material procurement.
Writes routine reports and create power point presentations.
Maintains confidentiality and use discretion with business information.
Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work and employees reporting to them.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business management, supply chain management, mathematics or a related field with a strong emphasis on numeric analysis. (preferred)

Computer Skills

Intermediate: Word processing/typing.
Intermediate to Advanced: Excel
Intermediate to Advanced: Alphanumeric data entry, MS Excel, MS Access, Business Intelligence and ERP Systems.
