Job summary

Robert Harrell Incorporated in Sylacauga, AL seeks a Raw Materials Production Worker for a full-time day shift. You will handle raw materials, unload, and manage inventory to support production and ensure safety and efficiency.

Requirements include a minimum high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of raw materials experience; forklift certification preferred. The job requires lifting up to 100 pounds and routine work in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years experience with raw materials preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience operating loading equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle raw material warehouse activities to fulfill production needs, meet inventory requirements and receive raw material products in a timely fashion.
• Unload all bulk and raw materials to ensure safety and health factors are recognized in all processes.
• Maximize material utilization based on fertilizer orders to maintain maximum efficiency.
• Responsible for ordering, coordinating delivery, and receiving raw materials.
• Ensure and maintain the overall cleanliness of the raw materials area in warehouse and bulk unloading area as well as its surrounding areas.
• Assist Plant Manager in the daily, weekly and monthly inventory shrinkage and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local ordinances affecting this position.
• Ensure compliance with all Company policies and programs.
• Maintain valid licenses, certifications and/or permits required to perform responsibilities.
• Ensure timely processing of system information and proper documentation concerning inventory transactions (shipments, transfers, receipts, changes in cost/price, etc.).
• Actively manage inventory, staying within levels established by management.
• Work with Plant Manager in support of the safety and compliance regulations of plant and warehouse activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
