Job summary

dsm-firmenich in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a Raw Material Quality Control Technician to perform sampling, testing and data recording to ensure product safety and compliance. You will oversee deviations, calibrations, and basic lab maintenance in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science required.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in quality control.
• Fluency in local language; other languages encouraged.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support Raw Material specification alignment into system and conduct RM testing to ensure compliance.
• Independent, efficient organization and processing of quality control analyses in the laboratory.
• Mastery of routine analyses, including preparation, performing and documentation per specifications.
• Plausibility checks of analysis results and accuracy checks of measurements.
• Enter results into defined systems and ensure data integrity.
• Report and process all deviations (OOS) per protocol and notify procurement when needed.
• Maintain laboratory and analytical equipment per GMP and safety standards.
• Meet KPI deadlines for analysis duration and data transmission.
• Conduct initial testing for OOS results following execution documents.
• Adhere to SHE specifications and safety guidelines.
• Analyze special samples to resolve lab and production issues.
• Procure lab materials and manage QC stock to avoid shortages.
• Escalate issues to supervisors when needed.
• Collaborate across teams and functions to improve quality.
