Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking a Raw Material Utility to transport and handle raw materials, operate forklifts, and maintain accurate inventory within our High Street facility. The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

Typical schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM, with full-time benefits and a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Forklift certified or ability to obtain certification.
• Willingness to learn the D365 software system.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail for reading and processing label codes and material specifications.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials from receiving to the warehouse and ensure smooth movement across production areas.
• Accurately register raw materials and perform data entry in our D365 software system.
• Communicate production challenges and opportunities to your supervisor.
• Follow all GMP and food safety protocols.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently or become forklift certified.
• Learn and cross-train in other responsibilities, such as finished goods tasks and warehouse operations.
• Ensure inventory and materials are accurately handled and stored according to specifications.
• Work as part of a cross-functional team with colleagues from different departments.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned to support daily production goals.
