Job summary

Sofidel America is seeking a Converting Raw Material Warehouse Coordinator at our Hattiesburg, MS facility to support raw material activities within converting and warehouse operations with strong coordination and inventory control.

The role collaborates with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability and accurate inventories, reporting to the appropriate supervisor depending on site structure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate's Degree.
• Minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Exposure to SAP, preferred, or an MRP system.
• Ability to read and interpret safety, shipping/warehouse, inventory, and quality documents.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, email).
• Ability to conduct basic math and handle various units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily movement of raw materials from warehouse to converting production lines.
• Ensure materials are staged and delivered in line with production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accuracy in systems.
• Complete inventory transactions including receipts, issues, and transfers.
• Support cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Communicate material needs and issues with cross-functional teams.
• Support staging and flow to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Ensure safety, quality, and company procedures are followed.
• Support continuous improvement of material flow and warehouse efficiency.

We are seeking a Converting Raw Material Warehouse Coordinator at our Hattiesburg, MS, facility to support raw material activities within converting and warehouse operations through strong coordination, inventory control, and collaboration with cross functional teams.

Position Overview

Sofidel America is a manufacturer of tissue products for domestic and hygienic use, focused on operational excellence, quality, and continuous improvement. We are seeking a Converting Raw Material Warehouse Coordinator at our Hattiesburg, MS, facility to support raw material activities within converting and warehouse operations through strong coordination, inventory control, and collaboration with cross functional teams. The Converting Raw Material Warehouse Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring accurate raw material inventory, efficient material flow to converting operations, and timely availability of materials required for production. This position works closely with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Warehouse teams to support daily operations. This position reports to the Integrated Warehouse Supervisor, CNV Warehouse Supervisor, or Raw Material Supervisor, depending on the site and operational structure.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily movement of raw materials from warehouse storage to converting production lines
• Ensure raw materials are staged and delivered to production in alignment with production schedules
• Monitor raw material inventory levels and ensure accuracy within inventory systems
• Complete inventory transactions including receipts, issues, and transfers
• Support and participate in cycle counts and physical inventories
• Investigate and assist with resolving raw material inventory discrepancies
• Communicate material needs, shortages, and issues with Production, Logistics, Quality, and Warehouse teams
• Support staging and material flow to minimize downtime and production disruptions
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material flow, inventory accuracy, and warehouse efficiency

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or Associate's Degree
• Minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training, preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Exposure to SAP, preferred, or an MRP system
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, shipping/warehouse and inventory requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals.
• Communication skills such as verbal, written, email, etc.
• Ability to conduct basic math and in all units of measure (whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, etc.)

Work Environment

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required when in the production and warehouse areas. PPE will include safety shoes, eye and ear protection, reflective vests, and hairnets or hats along with any other necessary protection. Temperatures in the facility can range a great deal from season to season. The employee will be exposed to considerable paper dust, and employees will also be exposed to noise levels that will require hearing protection.
