Job summary

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Raw Material Utility to join our manufacturing team in Hanover, PA at our High Street facility. This role handles raw materials, operates forklifts, maintains inventory accuracy, and supports production and warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and a strong team player who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and work with a cross-functional team to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Familiarity with the D365 software system.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently, stay motivated, and meet deadlines.
• Proactive in identifying challenges and communicating solutions.
• Attention to detail for reading and processing label codes and material specifications.
• Self-starter with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials from receiving to the warehouse and ensure smooth movement across production areas.
• Accurately register raw materials and perform data entry in our D365 software system.
• Communicate production challenges and opportunities to your supervisor.
• Follow all GMP and food safety protocols.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently (or become forklift certified).
• Learn and cross-train in other responsibilities, such as finished goods tasks and warehouse operations.
• Ensure inventory and materials are accurately handled and stored according to specifications.
• Work as part of a cross-functional team with colleagues from different departments.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned to support daily production goals.

Job description

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Raw Material Utility to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA at our High Street facility.

This role is responsible for transporting and handling raw materials, operating forklifts, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting production and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.

This position works Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Friday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport raw materials from receiving to the warehouse and ensure smooth movement across production areas.
• Accurately register raw materials and perform data entry in our D365 software system.
