Summary:

This is an intermediate level position involving skilled work in the preparation and storage of prill, operating manual and automated equipment, and ensuring product quality and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Report equipment and process issues to management promptly.
2. Assist maintenance with equipment repairs.
3. Monitor dust collectors, hoppers, silo levels, and emission data.
4. Perform cleaning and safety checks.
5. Operate forklifts, dust control, and other machinery.
6. Conduct quality control audits and maintain accurate records.
7. Ensure safety and cleanliness of work areas.
8. Manage raw material deliveries and inventory.
9. Operate automated systems for silos, batching, and processing.
10. Assist with training new operators.
11. Maintain process parameters and product specifications.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Proficiency with data entry and record keeping.
• Ability to operate forklifts, wheel loaders, and automated systems.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and hazard recognition.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Physical ability for manual labor and wearing a respirator if needed.
• Minimum six months experience as BP Operator II preferred.
