Job summary

The Raven Robotics Head Sponsor is part of the Francis Howell School District and coordinates the districtwide FIRST Robotics Competition program, overseeing student recruitment, team organization, fundraising, practice schedules, competition preparation and ongoing program development for three district buildings.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize and support a districtwide extracurricular program.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to work with students, staff, families, and community members.
• Interest in robotics or STEM education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program planning, fundraising, and structure for upcoming season.
• Recruit students across district buildings during events.
• Host biweekly and after-school meetings; organize practices and competition prep.
• Maintain leadership structures and districtwide recruitment plans.
• Attend Booster Club meetings and collaborate with stakeholders.
