Job summary

Southern Foodservice Management seeks a dedicated Ration Clerk at Fort Leavenworth, Leavenworth, KS, to manage daily ration flow from reception to storage and distribution. You will maintain accurate records and uphold HACCP standards in all receiving and storage areas.

Shifts run 5:30 AM–1:00 PM, Sunday–Thursday, with a focus on inventory control, labeling, and safe handling of all food items to support kitchen operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety.
• Experience with receiving and stocking in a dining facility.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Receive ration deliveries from warehouse.
• Inspect products for quality and quantity.
• Maintain inventory control across receiving, storage, distribution, and restock.
• Ensure HACCP compliance in receiving and ration areas.
• Issue correct rations to cooks per reports.
• Store leftovers safely and label items.
• Conduct periodic inventories.
• Lock storage areas and maintain security.
• Label and store items per Food Code.
