Moody’s Ratings and Research Support (RRS) internship program is a 10-week, full-time opportunity designed for students pursuing finance, economics, or quantitative fields. Interns will support analytical teams, participate in case studies, and prepare charts and presentations.

The program offers mentorship, networking, leadership speaker series, and volunteer events, with potential for an offer as a Ratings Associate after graduation. For US-based roles, the anticipated wage is $35/hr.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Economics, or quantitative field
• Graduation window December 2027 – June 2028
• Able to work full-time June 7 – August 13, 2027
• Exposure to data analysis or visualization tools is a plus
• Interest in AI tools, responsible AI practices, and risk management

Responsibilities

• Support analytical teams on projects and day-to-day work
• Participate in case studies to build analytical understanding
• Work on analytical, research, data, and process projects
• Collect data and identify trends to support credit conclusions
• Prepare financial documents, charts, and presentations
• Monitor media outlets for news related to projects
• Provide analytical support to rating teams
• Contribute to high-quality research publications
