Job summary

Morgan Stanley’s New York Rates Trading team seeks a Product Controller in ISG Finance to oversee daily P&L reporting, manage month-end close processes, and support regulatory reporting while contributing to strategic projects.

As an Associate in Product Controllers, you will partner with Finance and business units to ensure robust controls, accurate profit and loss, and timely balance sheet reporting. The role emphasizes collaboration, risk awareness, and process improvement.

We're seeking someone to join our New York Rates Trading team as a Product Controller in ISG Finance to oversee daily P&L reporting, manage month-end close processes, support regulatory reporting, and contribute to strategic projects.

In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is an Associate position within our Product Controllers Job Family which specializes in ensuring adequacy of controls, profit and loss and balance sheet reporting and reconciliations for a segment / business / product area, as well as management reporting across business segments or cross functional end-to-end product oversight.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Willingness to seek guidance and provide feedback to further develop self and peers ability to collaborate effectively with team members and colleagues across the organization
• Ability to analyze data and think strategically
• Strong skills in planning, organization, and prioritization, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication and in MS Office, with strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs..
